Rope Bowl Class

class fee $45
Class supplies additional and can be purchased at the shop. Supply list available when you sign up. Learn to set up your machine to make rope bowls and trivets and make a bowl in this class. In this class we will be making the bowl pictured.

Free Motion Quilt Class

Class Fee $60.00
Join Linda and learn the basics of free-motion machine quilting. We’ll cover aspects of batting selection, backing fabric considerations including calculating yardage and a neat piecing technique, and layering and pin-basting your quilt top.
"I’ll share tips on how to start and stop, handling the bulk of your quilt and that 'my bobbin just ran out!” situation, and correcting mistakes (discovering that many “mistakes” aren’t mistakes at all). I’ll demonstrate how to make and apply binding.
You’ll practice a variety of no-mark free-motion patterns and go home with the start of a pattern dictionary of your own. The class handout includes a bibliography of machine quilting references."
